Our rental property boasts a backyard view that overlooks the gorgeous Chassahowitzka nature preserve, providing guests with a serene and tranquil environment to unwind and relax. Listen to the sounds of birds and the gentle lapping of the water as you sip your morning coffee on the back patio or enjoy a cocktail watching the sunset by the firepit.
Inside, you'll find a spacious and comfortable living area with all the modern amenities you need to make your stay as comfortable and possible. The property features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The middle bedroom has a bunk-bed with trundle.
There is an additional screened area downstairs with a grill, sink and refrigerator. There is no housekeeping service but a washer and dryer upstairs for your convenience to use. Paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, large blk bags (for scallop shells) laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap and mini soaps are provided to get you started. Kitchen is equipped with the essentials; coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
Our VRBO waterfront rental property in Old Homosassa is ideally located for a variety of outdoor activities. The area is home to numerous springs for swimming with the manatees and kayaking.
If you're lucky to visit during the scallop season (which runs July-September). There is nothing quite like spending a day out on the water harvesting these delicious bivalves. Bring your boat or charter a fishing or Air boats trip. We are located near the Mason Creek public boat ramp and have additional parking for a boat trailer or RV.
