This is a BRAND NEW 3 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront stilt home located off Mason Creek, in Old Homosassa Florida, about 1-2 hrs north of Tampa.
It is situated on 1 acre of private land with approximately 200' of frontage on the creek and is adjacent to the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management area.
Plenty of room for all your toys ! You can put your boat in at the semi private ramp ( 3 minute walk ), and park your truck/trailer back at the house while docking boat at the floating dock, complete with cleaning station, fresh water shower and electric. There is a small fixed bridge between ramp and house. Any center console or pontoon boat will fit through with no problem and Bimini tops will make it through easily. Towers might not. Clearance is about 10'.
The house is fully furnished with free wifi, internet tv and home telephone. The kitchen is fully equipped with new utensils, and appliances. The washer/dryer are upstairs in laundry/pantry room.There is a covered porch that encircles the house to give you plenty of easy, cool breezes and spectacular waterfront views.
The bedrooms consist of 1 Queen size, (Master) with full bath, 1 full size, (Guest) and 1 "daybed" with an extra pull out single, (Guest). The guest bedrooms share 2nd full bath. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms living room and porches as well as Central A/C, heat (winter).
This a pet friendly home, but the limit is no more than 1 dog, (20 lbs or less) and at least 1 yr old. There will be an extra "pet" cleaning fee.
Smoking is allowed outside only, and please throw cigarette butts in appropriate receptacles.
Bring your bicycles, golf-cart, kayaks, ect as you can access several great state hiking/biking trails down here. There are 2 kayaks and a paddle board, with USCG approved floatation devices and paddles for guest use. We ask that they are rinsed and returned to correct storage when finished using them.
From the dock it is about 10 minutes to the open Gulf of Mexico, with world class fishing, diving and scalloping. Just about a 5 minute walk away is the entrance to the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management area where, (depending on season), you can go hunting or hiking too!
Length of stay is negotiable, but would like to keep it at 3 night minimum. Weekly, monthly, or seasonal rental is acceptable.
