We are licensed as a WEEKLY RENTAL ONLY . All reservations run from Saturday to Saturday. All cancellations received 90 days prior to your rental week will receive a refund. Located in the Grassy Key section of Marathon , " Atlantic House " offers extreme privacy as well as unparalleled views of the open Atlantic ocean. From June through October, guests are usually the only residents of the house , which is composed of two identical but separate sides . During this time period there will seldom be guests in the owners' side UNLESS the owners happen to be there, or on occasion have friends visiting for a week. While it is unlikely that there will be occupants in the owner's side , the owners' reserve this right . There will not be other paying guests staying in the owners' side at any time . Weekly rentals ONLY please { Saturday to Saturday }.
During the winter the owners are also in residence. They are a delightful couple from New England who come to Marathon to enjoy the fabulous winter weather . Phil is an avid fisherman who will be happy to discuss fishing at any opportunity !
The very comfortable interior includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have king beds , one of which is created by the use of twin beds joined together. There is also a large fold out couch in the living room. The Kitchen, living room, and dinning room, all have beautiful views of the open Atlantic ocean.
The grounds are large and very private. There is virtually no sight or sound of neighbors to the South, and only a glimpse of the neighboring house to the North. Between the house and the ocean there is a wonderful and completely fenced in pool. Beyond the pool area there is a walkway along a point of land at the end of which there is a deck with chairs where guests can relax and enjoy the serenity of the ocean in all directions.
On the entrance side of the property there is plenty of very accessible room to park two or even three boat trailers as well as several cars . While there are no docks on open ocean front properties, there is a nice and convenient marina very close by { less than one mile }, with boat slips that can accommodate boats up to 30' in length. Grassy Key Marina is located at 59073 Overseas Hwy { route 1 } . A boat slip is usually available with prior notice for $250. for the week , but you must call to make a reservation { 305 - 922 - 2665 }. There are also two kayaks { one double and one single } as well as a paddle board for guests' use.
Atlantic House is very much a Keys style of dwelling , informal , casual, and laid back. This is the ideal location to escape winter weather while enjoying world class fishing and total oceanfront privacy.

All rentals at the Atlantic House are weekly rentals running from Saturday to Saturday. A deposit is due upon reservation, and the balance is due 90 days prior to your rental week.
