Summary: First off, this was a last minute booking. Our original booking cancelled on us and we were lucky to find this property that allowed us all to stay together. Property is in Little Haiti, near the Miami Design District and Wynwood. For the most part, the house was clean but we had cleaners and caretakers coming by at random times to care for the property. While the property manager did contact us about it, VRBO messaging's lagging made the notices last minute. We did have to go out to Target for some odds and ends we were expecting in the house (sugar packets, oil for cooking, etc.). A few issues we had: 1) The neighborhood is so-so. It's mostly residential and you can tell the neighborhood is gentrifying, but it's early. We still had to go to Publix or Target to get supplies. Ubers/Lyfts were aplenty. Please note this neighborhood is residential; you'll have to go to the neighboring developments for your meals, entertainment, and essentials. 2) We found that we were lacking in towels and spare TP. With the laundry machine, we ended up washing towels often so everyone had clean towels. 3) Beds were very soft and a bit noisy, making for a rough night's sleep. I would suggest that the property manager invest in foam mattresses as well as pack and play and high chair for people who are traveling with small children. 4) The hall bathroom seems to not have hot water coming from the shower. The hall bathroom also didn't have a lock on the door. 5) It wasn't clear where to store our trash. The outside trash bins was full and for most of the stay the outside bins were filled. When it was finally collected, our trash was left behind by the city. It was unclear when our trash was meant to be collected. 6) We explicitly rented the house for the pool and the backyard space. Unfortunately no citronella candles were provided nor was the pool open for use (cleaned while we were there, but wasn't clear if there was enough chlorine in the water). This was the biggest bummer for our trip. That said, this house had enough space for our family of 8 with 2 small children. It was close enough that we got to South Beach and Brickell in 15-20 minutes, Wynwood in about 5 minutes (by car).
