Our condo is located directly on the beach in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, a quiet and quaint beach town on the Gulf of Mexico. Our balcony has an unobstructed view of the beach and Gulf, and provides an incredible front row seat to watch our gorgeous sunsets. The condo is very close to the water, which means hauling beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys down to the beach is as easy as it is going to get. The elevator access from our balcony (private key required) is also useful when hauling items. Our condo is on the first level, up one flight of stairs. Directly in front of our condo is a lovely lawn with Adirondack chair seating overlooking the beach dunes and Gulf. The complex pool is beachfront, in front of the building next to ours. With only 18 units in the complex, the pool does not get overcrowded. The pool is heated, and there are lounge chairs and tables/chairs available for your use on the pool deck.
Our condo (1130 sq ft) is a well maintained, very clean 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit that is an ideal set up for families or groups with up to 4 adults. We have a maximum capacity of 6, although please note there are beds only for 5. The master has a king-sized bed, the 2nd bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed. The living room has a large couch with recliners on either end plus there are two other reclining chairs. The master bath has a shower, the 2nd bath has a combination shower/tub. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, crock pot, tea kettle, blender, toaster, coffee machine, various glasses, mugs, and many plastic glasses to take to the pool and beach. Beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and a huge bin of beach toys are available for your use. There is a hair dryer in each bathroom. The condo is also fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, dish soap, dish washing soap. laundry soap - all those items you'd rather not have to buy on your vacation. There is a washer/dryer in the unit. We also have a pack-n-play crib and portable high chair in the condo for families with younger children. The condo is child friendly- no fragile decorations. Electrical outlet cover plugs are also available. There is a gas and charcoal grill in a designated grilling area for your use.
There are several restaurants within walking distance of the condo, including a French bakery, and many restaurants serving seafood (of course!), Italian, American etc. cuisine. Indian Rocks beach has so many great places to eat, you could stay within a mile of the condo for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wanted to.
Our condo is about a 40 minute drive from the Tampa airport. The Clearwater/St. Pete airport is a 20 minute drive. Other attractions within a 30-45 minute drive include Raymond James Stadium, Tropicana Field, Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, the Lowry Park Zoo and several spring training stadiums for MLB teams including the Yankees, Phillies, and Blue Jays. Clearwater Aquarium is only a few miles north of the condo. Disney is about a two hour drive, so it is possible to take a day trip to Orlando - if you are very adventurous.
There is No Smoking and No pets allowed in the unit at any time. Minimum stay is 7 nights, and we rent Sat-Sat during most of the year. If you are interested in booking dates other than Sat-Sat, please send us a message first before submitting a booking request.
