Tanglewood is a relaxing vacation spot for outdoors fun and adventure--offering fishing, kayaking, swimming, bird-watching, fire pit, and yard games. This 4BR, 3BA home sits on the bank of Phillipi Creek. The home sleeps 10. The dock is great for fishing-or launching the 2 kayaks that come with this rental. Amenities include a 36-foot saltwater pool and an outdoor kitchen under a covered terrace. In the large yard, enjoy a tournament-sized horseshoe pit and bocce court, as well as a 3-hole putting green. The covered patio offers wonderful outdoor dining throughout the day. With evening lighting the patio makes for lovely outdoor dinners. 6 Adirondack chairs surround the fire pit for fun marshmallow evenings.
This home is situated within the Forest Lakes Community of South Gate--a unique community of 60's style houses--many that are preserved as designed. This community was built around the Forest Hills Golf Course, an 18-hole course, with it's entrance on Beneva Road, just north of Webber. You can walk to the first hole, from the house, as well. This relaxed golf course has cheap rounds and very little water--so it's wonderful fun for the whole family.
This home has two separate office workstations & printer for "work-from-home" family vacations. Enjoy a fully equipped, stainless steel island-kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, waffle maker, food processor, blender, teapot, vegetable steamer, wok, slow cooker--with Le Creuset and All-Clad pots. Full table service for 20 plus 2 booster seats for toddlers, so there's room for-all.
There's plenty of room to spread out, with 3 outdoor conversation pits, and two outdoor 6-person dining tables. So, leave the jigsaw puzzles out! The house is well-stocked for beach fun, with boogie board, umbrella, chairs, toys, bags, and beach buggy.
With beaches like Lido & Siesta Key close-by, golfing, sailing, charter fishing, Legacy Bike Trail, shops, theater, opera, ballet, and restaurants--all ideally located within 2 miles, there is something for everyone in your family to enjoy!
Please note that by booking this reservation, renter agrees to release owner of any liability from injury or misfortune affecting any member of the rental party, when crossing the fence to access and use the dock, or from use of the kayaks--on premise, or off. Renter is responsible for up to $750.00 for loss of, or significant damage to, the kayaks/paddles. Pool cameras are required by owner's insurance carrier--tampering with them will initiate an additional $750.00 charge. Also note that weekly pool service is Wednesday-Thursday.

NOTE: The pool features a child safety fence, which cannot be removed by state law. The 2 pool cameras are required by owner's insurance carrier. Tampering with them will initiate an additional $750.000 charge.
NOTE: While the pool is cleaned weekly, this outdoor pool is not inside a screened-in Lanai, so guest may have to occasionally skim leaves out that blew in on the wind. There is a skimmer available by the side of the pool.
