Summary: The location is good, and the area around the hotel is quiet, which was a plus. The hotel itself is fairly dated and could really use a refresh. The room was functional and met basic needs, but it showed a lot of wear and tear. A remodel would definitely benefit this property. That said, I was on the go most of the time, so the room was mainly just a place to sleep, shower, and get ready, and it served that purpose fine. The restaurant and bar in the lobby were nice. The bartender was awesome—she stayed open late for my group and played music for us, which made for a great experience. The price was reasonable for the stay. Overall, it worked for this trip, but it would not be my first choice if I were to visit San Antonio again.
