Ambersand Beach with its turquoise Ocean and glistening Indian River Lagoon is a truly beautiful location. This Ocean to River paradise is very private; you and your guests can enjoy relaxing beach days to the east and sunsets over the Indian River to the west.
The White Orchid Beach House is a unique property located on Orchid Island six miles north of Vero Beach and two miles south of Sebastian Inlet. The home is right on the beach to the east and because of the narrow width of Orchid Island also right on the Indian River/Intracoastal Waterway to the west. We are in a very quiet setting yet only about 90 minutes to Disney theme parks.
The home includes a private dock extending a few hundred feet into the Indian River with a tiki hut at terminal. The dock is a great place to fish, watch for dolphin or manatee, boat, or just sit and watch sunsets over the Indian River.
Provided with the home are two tandem (two person) sit-on-top kayaks which you can launch right from the property into the Indian River. They are great for beginners and make for hours of fun exploring the pristine waterways.
The Beach House is a 2000sf two story home. The first floor includes a two car garage, washer/ dryer, outdoor patio with grill and one bedroom with two twin beds and a full bathroom. This first floor bedroom is private and accessed from the patio. The second floor includes three bedrooms each with a Queen bed and two full bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the Indian River. Towards the back is an open concept kitchen, dining, living room combination with a 30 x 8 deck area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The deck is equipped with Adirondack chairs, recliners and a newly installed spiral stair to access the ocean. There is a private dune walk over right to the beach from the lower patio with an outdoor shower. The beach is just about as private as you can get with most days no one but yourself on the beach.
Side walks are in front of home to accommodate bike riding, 4 bikes provided. The historic jungle trail is just a couple of miles away and is a wonderful place to explore and ride bikes.
Weddings and other gatherings are prohibited within Indian River County at vacation rental homes. The fine can be as much as 5,000.00 so please no gatherings. No more then 8 guests can be at the property at any time.
This property is licensed with the State of Florida for use as a Single Family Vacation Rental, license # DWE4101357. It is also licensed with Indian River County as a short term Vacation Rental, license #IRC-STVR-18-11-11.
