This is a luxury home, not a high traffic vacation rental.
Waterside at Bay Beach is an exclusive, gated high-rise community at the southern end of Estero Island (a/ka Ft. Myers Beach). For many, this is the perfect location for several reasons:
- We have beautiful sunrise views and, in the afternoon and evening our wrap around lanai with views of the bay is cool and comfortable. Beachfront is great, but the afternoon & evening sun exposure makes the patio/balcony a very hot spot.
- It is peaceful here! It does not feel like a tourist zone with hundreds of happy, but loud vacationers all around you. With a minimum of one-month rentals, no one is trying to cram to much fun into too short a period of time.
- Less people on the South end means less crowds at the beach, shops, and restaurants.
- There's less traffic on the South end of the island and it has the quickest access via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, and the famous Lover's Key State Park.
- Anytime you want to go to the North end and Time Square, it is only 5 miles away or just hop on the trolley.
- Our community enjoys exclusive access to a private nature preserve. It is several acres of walking, bird watching or simply enjoying nature.
- Our resort like pool with waterfall is heated and cooled and never crowded!
- Our community has a private work out room, tennis courts and a fishing pier.
- We have free high-speed internet and premium cable TV, including HBO.
- The ocean is only a half mile away, but it feels even closer. We have access to a private, free parking lot across the street from the beach and a deeded beach access point. Going to the beach is super easy!
Everything about this condo is luxurious. The Master Suite has a King size bed with PranaSleep mattress, large flat screen TV and walk in closet. The spa-like master bath has a double basin vanity, gorgeous walk in shower with frameless glass door and a freestanding soaker tub with views over the bay. The Guest Suite has a Queen size bed with PranaSleep mattress, a walk-in closet, writing desk and views of the resort like pool and private marina. The bath features a single basin sink and extra-large, beautiful tiled walk in shower. The kitchen and both bathrooms have gorgeous custom cabinetry with soft close drawers and quartz countertops. There is a front load washer & dryer provided in the condo for your convenience. The screened, wrap around lanai is furnished with a beautiful dining set for 4, as well as two matching armchairs and ottomans. The furnishings and stainless-steel appliances throughout the condo are near new and top of the line. This is a non-smoking building and our unit is certified pet free.

Entry to the Waterside Community is through a guard manned gate. The building itself is further secured through a key-pad entry door in to an air-conditioned and beautifully furnished lobby. There is ample surface parking. Take the elevator to the fifth floor for access to the condo. The hallways on each floor are all air-conditioned and carpeted.
Walk into #152 through double doors into a foyer. What will catch your eye immediately is the expansive kitchen, dining and living area, spilling out onto a balcony overlooking the breathtaking back bay. The calming navy, aqua and grey color palette, with crisp white cabinetry and neutral tile flooring were all chosen to provide a true beach experience with a spa like feel.
Views of the back bay are amazing from the large screened in wrap-around lanai. In the mornings, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the awe-inspiring sunrises. In the evening, it's the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail and watch the boating traffic and marine life that typically include playful dolphins and all types of sea birds. With a location on the inter coastal waterway, there is a vast array of boats floating by, from luxury yachts, to 4 engine speedboats, catamarans to triple decker fisherman's dreams. It's an ever changing and entertaining boat parade. The lanai is elegantly furnished with an octagonal glass-top dining table and four chairs and two cozy armchairs with ottomans and cocktail table in between. All are sturdy, high quality pieces with thick comfortable cushions. A ceiling fan ensures you can always have a breeze. The view from here is approximately 180 degrees, featuring the back bay, Coon Key, neighboring resorts, and all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, with the skyline of Bonita Springs and Naples on the horizon.
The kitchen is a chef's delight with custom hardwood cabinetry, soft close drawers and brushed stainless hardware. The Quartz counter tops are nonporous in a marbled deep grey tone and the backsplash is a beautiful arabesque pattern of greys and silver tiles. There is a deep, single basin stainless steel sink, with disposal. Appliances are all high-end stainless steel, including a French door refrigerator with pull-out freezer drawer, and ice and water dispenser in the door, built-in glass top, conduction range with convection and self-cleaning oven, built-in above range microwave oven and an ultra-quiet Bosch dishwasher. There is even a Keurig coffee maker. In addition to plenty of cabinet space there is a spacious pantry, and there is also a pass-through from the kitchen to the dining area, with 2 upholstered barstools on the dining room side. There is cannister lighting, as well as under-counter lighting, and a ceiling fan for your added comfort.
The large master suite with tray ceiling and ceiling fan is spacious and bright. It is stylishly filled with Tommy Bahama furnishings to give a luxury, tropical feeling. It features a king-size bed with headboard and matching nightstands with lamps. The PranaSleep mattresses guarantee you will sleep like a baby. There are two end of bed benches, an upholstered swivel chair, as well as a double dresser with large flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors from the bedroom offers direct access to the enclosed balcony. Upon waking in the morning, the view from your bed will be of an amazing sunrise! The room features a large walk-in closet, again with custom shelving and drawers. The master ensuite bath is accessed through a pocket sliding door. Cannister lighting adds to the elegant ambience.
The Master bathroom is a beautiful, spa like retreat. It is designed in muted, serene shades of grey with white custom cabinetry and soft close drawers. It is expansive, with dual sink vanity and grey quartz countertop. The frameless glass doored shower includes ample space for supplies and even has a mini ledge to make shaving your legs a breeze. But, the piece de resistance is the free-standing soaker tub, that sits directly under a window looking out over the bay. It is the ultimate treat after a busy day of sunbathing and beach walking. The window shade is electric with a handheld remote, making it simple to open and close at will.
The living area features a floor to ceiling wall of windows which overlook the resort like pool, boat docks, and the beautiful back bay. Furnishings include a leather sofa with Tommy Bahama end tables, coffee table and lamps, the most comfortable Stickley leather recliner that you have ever napped in, another end table and floor lamp, and a swivel chair that looks out at the view or into the room. One of the walls of the living area features a stylish Tommy Bahama entertainment center with large flat screen TV and decorator shelving. There is a ceiling fan as well.
The adjoining dining area features a Tommy Bahama square wood pub-high table with four upholstered chairs, in a rich cream-colored fabric. These chairs match the adjacent swivel barstools at the bar between the dining room and kitchen.
The laundry room features high-end full size, front loading washer and dryer. There are storage drawers beneath the washer and dryer and additional cabinetry above.
The guest bedroom suite can be closed off for privacy when you have overnight guests or left open for easy access to the guest bathroom. Stepping into the hallway of this guest suite, immediately to the right is the guest bathroom, which is equally beautiful as the Master bath. It also features a frameless glass door and boasts a built-in shower seat and shower niche. There is not only a shower head, but a hand-held shower head as well. The quartz vanity with lavatory has plenty of drawers and storage space beneath. Back into the little hallway and to the right is the guest bedroom, which is also beautifully furnished with Tommy Bahama pieces including a queen-size bed with nightstands and lamps, a double dresser with marble top, and decorative wall mirror. There is also a desk with stool beneath a plantation shuttered window that overlooks the lush tropical grounds, resort pool, docks, and back bay. Guests will also enjoy a peaceful nights sleep on their PranaSleep mattress. Through a pocket door is a walk-in closet with custom shelving. A tray ceiling with ceiling fan adds to the spacious feeling and overall comfort of the guest bedroom.
Free high-speed internet is available throughout the condo and a vast assortment of cable TV channels, including HBO and a built in DVR are available on all televisions.
