NOTE: Private grill & patio, shared pool & yard, older unit with lots of wear & tear, you walk through the middle bedroom to get to the rear bedroom. There are often several families with children, and they can run around freely in the large, fully fenced common back yard. Parents can supervise from the pool or on the lawn chairs stationed strategically around the yard. The pool is protected by a child-resistant gate. Strong wifi throughout property. Fully equipped kitchen. Parking. Parking for two large cars. Strong Wifi. Well-equipped kitchen. 0.6 miles to large grocery store. Barbecue grill. Crib. Fully fenced back yard. The pool and deck are very large and are shared by eight units. Swim or just relax in the sun! The salt water is very mild. It has no chlorine or harsh chemicals. It doesn't sting your eyes, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. All ten units share a large common back yard, which is entirely fenced in, creating a private vacation compound. Kids can run around freely with minimal supervision. Beach gear: we provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. Wi-Fi: two high-speed internet connections, one AT&T and one Comcast, for maximum reliability. Stream movies or do video conference calls. Cooking: the kitchen is equipped for real cooking. There are sharp knives and non-stick pots and pans. There is a large grocery store within walking distance. You have your own private gas grill. Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request. Nearby: a 24-hour convenience store, a gas station, several restaurants, and a large park are all within walking distance. There are two washers and two dryers, and they are coin operated. I live in Europe but am very responsive to email. I have a full-time professional property manager in Fort Lauderdale who can respond to emergencies. You'll get the key in a lockbox. This is a thoroughly residential neighborhood. It's not a "walk to the restaurants and bars" type of place. There is a large grocery store (Winn Dixie) 1/2 mile away. South Florida is not a good place for public transportation. Please plan to rent a car or go by Uber/Lyft. I do not recommend local taxis. (o) You have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. (o) The pool, laundry room, and yard are shared by four duplexes. (o) The TV get local channels only. It is a Smart TV, so you can access Netflix, HBO or other streaming services. (o) The pool does not have a shallow end. It ranges from 3.5 to 7 feet (1.1 to 2.2 meters) deep. This is an old house and the unit is on the ground floor. Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult).
