Positive: Blake House is an incredibly serene and beautiful place to stay with many amenities, things to do and space for everyone. We stayed for a long weekend with our adult and teenage children and their friends. We arrived to fresh flowers and baked goods. The teenagers had independence, a gym, games, water activities and a tavern(!) to themselves. We lounged by the pool, made delicious meals, ate homemade bagels, drank hot coffee, read, walked, relaxed and played board games. We had a competitive game of charades in the Tavern! There was plenty of room for the 12 of us to have our own space and do our own things. Sunday night we walked into town to a sports bar to watch football. GO BIRDS!! Anything we forgot or needed was a quick and easy drive into Centreville. Gerry and Matt, the hosts, were responsive and attentive. I felt like family. Chef Erica cooked us dinner our first night there. She was lovely and the food was fantastic! I hope that we can stay at one of their properties again. Thank you!
