Cozy condo high atop PAs highest skiable mountain (best terrain in the state!) within Blue Knob All Seasons Resort's Alpine Village. Perfect for 2, but sleeps 6. One bedroom with comfy full bed, two built in twin bunk beds in the hallway, and a double, pull-out couch in the living area. Kitchen area with eat-in bar. In winter, sip hot cocoa in front of a roaring fire after an exhilarating day on the slopes. In the summer, enjoy the mountain breezes and a cocktail out on the balcony after a day of golf, hiking, biking, or relaxing by the pool!

Resort amenities include awesome skiing/snowboarding (lessons available thru the Snowsports School), Snow Tubing. Mountaintop 9-hole Golf course. Indoor and outdoor (summer only) pools, hot tubs, sauna, tennis. Restaurants include The Clubhouse Bar and Grill (casual, open year round, patio), The Black Bear (upscale dining - winter/weekends only), Summit Cafe (winter/lodge), and Mueller's Pub (winter/lodge). Mountainbike and hiking trails all over the mountain and throughout bordering Blue Knob State Park.

Blue Knob is located between Altoona and Johnstown, PA. 25 minutes from Historic Bedford (George Washington slept here!), Hollidaysburg - both great places for affordable antiquing! Also near Shawnee State Park, Gravity Hill, Horseshoe Curve, Johnstown Flood Museum, Ft. Bedford, Canoe Creek State Park, Trough Creek State Park, and Raystown Lake. Centrally located between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh (both around 2 hours away), and 2-1/2 to 3 hours from D.C. and Baltimore. One hour (or less!) to Penn State - can't get a room for the big game in town?

Blue Knob offers Wine Tastings on the 2nd Thursday of every month. In the summer, Friday nights are our golf and/or BBQ special out on the patio - with acoustic entertainment. The Conference Center is available for weddings and such. All sorts of stuff going on year round! Thunder in the Valley bike rally is held in Johnstown in June and both Bedford and Ligonier hold their annual Fall Festivals in October.

Every season is beautiful on the Knob. The people are friendly. Wildlife abounds. Oh! Did I mention the sunsets? A quick 1-1/2 mile drive to the very tip top of the mountain where the ski lodge is located gets you to some of THE most spectacular sunsets you've ever seen and, in the fall, a majestic panoramic view bursting with all the colors of autumn - it is quite a view to behold - after all, Blue Knob IS PAs second highest peak! Come up and enjoy the tranquility of it all - it is another world up here....

I provide towels, pillows, and blankets. Guests encouraged to bring their own linens (including pillow cases). If not, there is a $30 linen fee. There is no maid/room service, but there is a coin-op laundry room just around the corner on the same floor.
