Dex’s St. Pete house is 1100 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom just 10 minutes north of downtown St. Petersburg. We welcome you and your pets!
In case you are allergic, please note both dogs and cats have stayed in this house.
SUNROOM- The house spaciously opens up into a nice, airy Florida sunroom with a door to the back yard and a large 7 person table. It’s the perfect spot for family dinners or to post up and work.
BEDROOMS- The first bedroom has a king bed and the second has a queen. The king bed has a medium plush pillow top mattress and the queen has a medium plush pillow top - gel hybrid mattress. Both beds are very comfortable.
LIVING ROOM- living room includes a big, cozy, reclining couch and loveseat with a 65” mounted TV for your down time. High speed Wi-Fi and all your streaming services, such as Netflix, Prime and Hulu, are all available.
KITCHEN- The galley kitchen includes all the basic cooking necessities with a Keurig for coffee and tea. There is currently no dishwasher. Washer and dryer are located right off the kitchen for use during your stay.
FENCED IN BACKYARD- The back yard is fully fenced in, with an outdoor table and hammock under the shady oak trees. Your dogs will love all the squirrel action.
PETS- I allow dogs and cats. I also travel with my dogs so I wanted to provide a place for others to travel with their pets. Please let me know if you will be arriving pets (just so I know).
NEIGHBORHOOD PARK- Puyear park, a 5 min walk away, in the neighborhood, has a short walking trail, soccer fields, tennis courts and a nice playground. The neighborhood is peaceful with plenty of space to walk your dogs.
BIKES- 2 older cruiser bikes are available for your use. Downtown St. Pete is a short 30 min ride a long a wide pedestrian and bike path, with a good portion of it a long the water. Ride through historic Northeast neighborhood , a long the water to the best restaurants, bars, shops and the new pier. St. Pete is a hidden gem in Florida.
KAYAK- There is a tandem kayak with paddles available, but you need to have a truck or van to transport it.
PARKING is available in the driveway and to the left of the driveway, in the grass, if needed. Street parking is also available.
BEACHES- Beach towels, chairs and a small cooler are available for use (see pictures). The closest beaches are about 25 minutes away. St. Pete beach, Madeira Beach, Fort Desoto Beach and Pass-a-grille are the closest beaches. Clearwater Beach, Indian Rocks Beach and Honeymoon Island are 45 minutes away.
BUGS- Welcome to Florida! Bugs are more intense in Florida. I have monthly treatment for mosquitos outside and pest control inside. Should you see any bugs inside please let me know as our services are guaranteed.
