Summary: We had a great stay. The neighborhood and location were good. Walmart is 5 mins away, the beach is 25 mins away. Restaurants etc are close by. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The backyard was great. Lots of seating options, pool and games room. We got a lot of use out of the pool and games and were able to sit outside late at night, or during the rain due to the covered patio area. The bedrooms were nice and having 2 bathrooms was great. We especially liked that you could access one of the bathrooms from the backyard without having to enter the house. The issues we had with the house did not impact our vacation but should be noted. Both sets of sliding doors were very difficult to open. Both bathrooms have broken or missing towel/toilet paper holders. If you are there any longer than 2 days be prepared to purchase all the necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap). There were not enough towels for everyone to have one (beach and bath) and if you are planning on using the pull out bed there is no comforter. We had to purchase extra towels and a comforter for the bed. We had a problem with ants in the house and while we were there the laundry room flooded. We had to clean up the water. The owner had a plumber out the next day and situation was resolved. We were expecting to be compensated for the inconvience or at least thanked for spending the time to mop up all the water but we were not. We also scrubbed the lounge chairs out back to clean off the mold. The surfaces in the house were clean but extra care is needed to clean the corners, baseboards and tops of lights etc. Overall the house was good value for what we paid. The house could be greatly improved with a few small additions (eg. dish towels, baking sheets) and some small maintenance jobs. Communication with the owner was quick and easy and I believe he will address these issues. We would stay there again.
