Summary: We stayed here for a family vacation with our family of four with two kids under 6, my dad and my sister. We wanted a little family vacation to wrap up the summer and had planned to just hang out on the property to fish, play yard games, enjoy the river and hot tub. We got to do most of these things though make sure you check to see if fishing is allowed. An absolutely beautiful location, but the power did go out for the most part of an entire day which really put a damper on it as we had food we had to keep cold/frozen so we needed to use the generator, but it didn't turn on automatically because there wasn't any propane in it as apparently the power was out previously and used the generators propane up, the propane people just happened to be refilling that day so eventually we had the generator but again it was loud, and ruined the tranquility. It also made it impossible to listen for wildlife including bears which we did have come across our yard.. property could use a fence or bear spray just in case as a bear ran across the property multiple times so it's not exactly a child friendly atmosphere. The power was basically a whole ordeal and a loud one at that. It didn't ruin the whole trip but it sure wasn't fun and relaxing to deal with.The towels were a bit smelly which I reported to the property management so hopefully that's fixed. Otherwise a wonderful location with a beautiful river, the cabin is adorable, and was well stocked with kitchen items.
