Nestled among citrus groves in a quiet neighborhood, you'll be minutes from town & only 45-60 minutes from Disney, Legoland, Orlando, Winter Haven, Lakeland & Sebring. Enjoy a spacious lakeview bedroom, living room with dinette, bathroom & kitchen. Amenities for your stay: a big hammock outside, high-speed Internet with wifi, covered parking, a private beach & access to 2 patios facing the lake—perfect for dining al fresco. We've always had winter visitors who return each year, so we have now decided to open up the cottage in the Fall & Spring. Crooked Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in Florida, one of only 3 designated by the State as having “outstanding waters,” great for swimming, boating, fishing (large-mouth bass & bluegill are plentiful) & water sports. Nestled quietly among citrus groves in a safe semi-rural neighborhood, you'll be minutes from town with restaurants, grocery, farm stands, and more. A mall & movie theater are about 15 minutes north. Bar/restaurant & convenience store are just a couple minutes away. Across the lake, a 20 minute drive away, is a marina where you can launch your boat.
