Summary: This property is OK. It is for sale and it is quite obvious that the property owners have either not been there or don't care to keep it updated. As past reviewers noted, the TVs didn't work - when we inquired about this prior to our stay, the owners stated it was just because they didn't know how to use the remotes. Well, it was actually because there is no cable or dish network. The only station that works is a local Spanish station and maybe a sports channel. The TV in the cabana house had a huge crack in it and didn't turn on. This was not a big deal - we weren't really planning on watching TV, but we did have 3 teens with us - thankfully it didn't rain, so they weren't needed anyway. Most of the lights in the bedrooms & kitchen were burnt out or were broken in the sockets. We had to pull the broken bulbs out with pliers to try to replace the bulbs for some lighting. When the owner was contacted, his response was "give me a call and I will walk you through how to change the bulb". Seriously? When we sent pictures of the bulbs and corroded sockets, we received no response. Other little things such as it notes a blender is available in the kitchen tools section of the ad and irons available (I'm a little obsessive with ironing!), but were not to be found in the house. Again, when asking the owner about the listed amenities, their answer was "there is a WalMart down the road if you want a blender". The owners lack caring about their renters was quite disheartening. The house itself, the cabana & the pool were quite nice, overall. With some maintenance and upkeep it could once again be a 5 star vacation home.
