Summary: To start with the good parts - the hosts are extremely nice and accommodating! We had flowers, chocolates, fruit, wine & a happy father’s day card waiting for us when we arrived. The checkin process was as smooth as can be. House was clean, beds were insanely comfortable. Pool was a perfect temperature and also clean. The house is super close to all things food and shopping!For the not so good parts - the house stayed HOT. It wouldn’t get below 77 during the day and 72 at night. I would blame it on the 100 degree weather, but being from Georgia with 100 degree weather, mine and my families homes have no issues with our AC units keeping our houses in the 60s. This house isn’t as “private” as it’s advertised or that reviews say it is. There’s two houses being built directly across. The photos are sadly false advertisement. The pool area looked 10 years older in person than it did in pictures (the whole house, actually). The dock area with the lounge chairs, umbrella, etc. was absolutely nothing like the pictures. The nice chairs in the pictures with cushions and an umbrella were not there. There were instead two plastic blue chairs and no umbrella. One of the chairs seemed to be broken. There’s also no hammock like there is in the picture. The chairs by the table on the back patio also have no cushions on them. Now, it may be because of all the storms recently but that should be disclosed when booking. The house is without a doubt extremely overpriced for what you get.
